My name is Tunje Yawa Makupe,married to one wife, with one child.I live in Kitsoeni sub-location in Chasimba location,Chonyi division Kilifi county.I'm a pharmaceutical technologist.I have a certificate in pharmacy.I started this business basically to earn a living and to improve my life.I purchase various items from the earnings of my business such as Malaria tabs,dewormers,nutrition,bandages,gloves,sick-beds,paracetamol,etc also buy food for my family,buy medicine for my family,pay for school fees and transport.Hope that when loaned by Zidisha will manage to expand my business to an extent that I open a hospital so that I help many people in our area.

My Business

My business is chemist,it provides the selling of medical drugs to people/clients for treatment of various diseases and ailments for commercial purposes.There is demand of this business because people daily fall sick and need to take the rightful medical drug as prescribed by a doctor.My customers prefer to my business because I sell to them yet expired medicines and that I'm an expert in health matters I advise them even before buying and use the medicine they happen to buy.The business is profitable because all the medicinal drugs I buy is from a wholesale normally bought in bulky at a relatively low price and finally sold at a relatively higher price.Risks that face my business are transport and security.My typical monthly income is ksh:45000 and my monthly expenditure is ksh:30000 and my profit is ksh:15000 and with this amount of money as my profit can comfortably pay Zidisha.

Loan Proposal

This loan will boost me by purchasing some medicinal drugs and equipments as these drugs will help our people or client a great deal especially during rain season.Equipments like gloves and canes will be used in the chemist for proper running of the work in my business.Lastly this money will help me advertise my chemist so that my client get to know my chemist and the types of medical drugs that I have.This will make the business advance and fetch a good income.
