I'm married with one daughter who is ten years of age now.She is now in class five in an private school in Mtwapa and she has ever been a performer. My husband due to age lost his sight and he is totally blind.I live in Mtomondoni in Mtwapa Kilifi county in the Coastal region of Kenya. My work is selling of new Leso.I buy them at Taveta and sometimes at Tanzania in large quantity. My education is class eight leaver in Mtomondoni primary.I started this business basically to ewarn a living and to help my daughter continue with her education.I purchase with the earnings the following items:washing soaps, fuel, water, transport, also pay for school fees, medicine etc.It my great hope that if im loaned by Zidisha I will expand my business nationwide and help not only my daughter but even the less fortunate people in our area.
My business is selling of LESO'S with this business involves the selling of Leso's to women normally the clothes are brand new, nicely decorated and written attracting statements of facts. There is ever high demand of this commodity in that Leso's are bought for specific occasions for instance funerals, wedding,Christmas, birthday when one wants to pass certain information to another and for sure those cases are ever there in life.My customers prefer my business in that I sell them first class Leso's with well written statements of facts at fair prices. The business is profitable in that one dozen bought at a whale sale price ksh:1200/= can be sold in a week at ksh:4800/=.My typical monthly income is ksh:38000/= and my monthly expenditure is ksh:24000/= and my pr5ofit therefore is ksh:14000/= of which I can pay zidisha loan very well.
This money will help me increase my stock in my Leso business for higher income. The types of Lesos that will start to buy in the effort of increasing my stock are the Lesos from Tanzania and those of Francis,as these are quality and well decorated which will attract more customers for higher profit in my business.
