On-time repayments
9 installments • 100%
I was born in the year 1900 in a family of seven children. My parents were poor and could not educate us beyond class eight. After std 8 I decided to go to town and look for a job and that’s how I landed in Nakuru. I worked in white man’s farm as a watchman between 2007 to 2010 and then resigned to start my own business as a charcoal dealer and firewood seller.
Iam married and I have two children that I love so much. My first born is a boy and he would like to be an engineer in future. The second born is a girl, she likes cooking with the mum and his future dream is to become a nurse.
On weekend when not at work, I like having time with my family. We do go to forest, climb trees, pick wild fruits, play hide and seek games. Then we would sit down under a huge tree and tell stories. I do encourage my kids to study hard so that they live a better life in future as oppose to mine. I do illustrate to them the kind of work that I do to fetch for them so that they become comfortable and excel academically.
I buy trees and hire a power saw man to fell and chop them into logs and then I look for the market around and sell them to schools. The branches I burn charcoal and sell in the Bahati market. I also sell timber if I come across good trees. A tree goes between kshs. 4000 – 5000. Then I use again ksh 2000 for the expenses. I make an average profit of kshs. 4000 per week.
If zidisha lends me the stated amount, I will add to my savings and buy a power saw machine to use in my business so that I cut down the cost of hiring the machine and in return maximize my profit.
If I make a profit of kshs. 6000 per a week, I will move my children to good academic schools and this will make them pass exams well and have a better life.
If zidisha loaned me the above stated amount. I will add it to my savings and buy a power saw machine that this will reduce the inconveniences i do get when looking for a machine to hire for my business.
I do hire the machine at a fee of kshs. 2000 and still pay for its user. so if i have my own machine, the whole profit will be mine and thefore i will be in a position to repay the stated amount comfortably.
My family will also live comfortably. The next big thing that iwill really appreciate is that I finish repaying the first loan successfully and then get a second loan and buy a motor bike that I will be using to carry my timber and firewood to my customers.
I prayer that zidisha considers me and support my business.
Thanks and may the lord bless you all.
