About Me

About Me:
Am a first born in a family of six, I went to Rift valley technical training institute for a diploma in carpentry and Joinery in 1996 and finished in the year 1998 and after that I started my business and pursue a career in carpentry. Getting capital to begin that business was not easy, but with my little capital which I collected while in attachment , I opened a workshop where I prepare furnitures and sell to the nearby neighbours. Therefore, I request zidisha for a little loan to boost my business in terms of capacity.
The business is situated in Migori town and has been in operation for 5 years
The reason why I started the business was due to high demand within and many students around which acts as a large market .
I usually re- invest most of the profit the business has generated in order to increase the capital base.
With the zidisha loan, i will increase the furnitures and bring in different categories to meet various customers demand. This will increase my profit and therefore help create employment to jobless youths in the village hence improving their living standards.

My Business

My business sells a variety of furnitures ranging from stools, tables, chairs, beds and wardrops. These furnitures customers buy frequently in order to equip their houses.I decided to start this business with a little capital collected from attachment and now its moving well and the reason why I started is because demand was high and their was ready market from college students. There are several competitors in the area, however my business attract more customers because of its strategic position and furnitures are sold at a subsidized prices.
Currently, the furnitures are not sufficient to meet customers demand due to increased population and high demand.
Thanks.

Loan Proposal

My Loan Proposal:
When I get this Loan,i will add additional furnitures like:
Timber at @50 US dollars
Saw @15 US dollars
Nails @ 20 US dollars
Plane@ 10 US dollar
,Without your help I will not be able to meet alone as the cost of those tools are high due to inflation.By meeting this requirements ,my profit will increase by 25% and thereafter 50% every month and this will enable me employ more people, supply more furnitures hence improving the economy.

    Nails costing 20usdollars.
Saw and plane costing 40 us dollars.

That worked out pretty well, hm? I'm so happy for you. My grandfather was a carpenter, that's why I decided to push your project...There are so many exciting projects out there but just not enough people who invest at the moment. All the best for your business...
