About Me

My name is Samuel Wambugu Gitonga, I was born in 1980 and raised in vicinity of Nyeri. After Certificate level in secondary schol i enrolled for a proffessional college Hospitality course in food and I pursued a course in Food production Diploma level. After graduating i went to various restaurants as a chef, in our country and serving community with catering services in weddings, anniversaries, birthdays etc . I have been blessed with a wife a and God have given us 2 children and attend school at primary level we all live together with them since we share live activities . My experience plus interests encouraged me and my wife after wrong discussion on business plan to start venturing food outside catering for events outside our business premises.

My Business

I started food business since I graduated from college in the year 2005 since I would engage myself in outside catering service when in employment sector , then I developed the business and opened my own restaurant to serve customers who were demanding my services of catering in events. My business is both indoor and outdoor catering services. My business is located in Kimathi Estate In Nyeri County in Kenya. I started the business in year 2011 and therefore it’s a 5 years business. I have seen it grow and my initial capital generates profit that am able to feed my family and cater for my stock in the business. I opted this business since its my Course and I understand what entails food production and services needed . The business attracts customers with occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and engagements. The business have attracted customers and since I have three food warmers currently present am unable to satisfy customer satisfaction. profit obtained from the business is reinvested since resources are still low compared to the need of the market. per month the business is able to generate Ksh. 8,000 profit which may be hard to save in order to buy more catering equipment.

Loan Proposal

I am requesting for the loan in order to boost my business bby buying enough catering equipment , party plates in order to serve for Quick service . I also intend for a graphic designer to draw recipe foods on the walls to boost my business since pictures are inviting .
The cost of buying 8 set of plates would would cost $180 and $19.54 i would buy the services of graphic designer to decorate my workplace.
These service will cater for the customer who are to be served in my hotel as well as outside a= catering.
This will have given a boost in my business of catering services since i will be able to be efficient in my serving food packs since for now i can serve 96 clients from previous 50 clients. I was also able to hire at times when am not using the chaffing dishes. I thank Zidisha for this supportive loan funds.
This can improve the business from the to total monthly revenue of 78 % which was previous 75% scaling down my expenses . and increasing my net profit that means while serving one occasion some of the Plates in proposal to buy will cater for other party with similar function but a number of event visitors.
My profit will increase by $3 previous from 75%. Once Considered i will be happy.
Best regards
