About Me

My Names is Benson Korir, 25 years am the first born out 3 boys living in Nakuru County (county where i was raised). I have done college and holds a diploma in Information Technology (IT). i completed my High School the year 2011 and joined Tracom College in Nakuru 2012-2013 and completed my diploma, i later got attached at KenLab computers Technologies in Nakuru the year June 2013 and got a job at Expert cyber cafe in Nairobi.
The life in Nairobi was a bit challenging since transport varies with time and weather, example if it rains the bus cost hike immediately but i worked hard and saved for a bicycle which helped me in Going To and From the work. After having worked there for 1 year I decide to opt out and do small businesses since the job was not paying well and the city life was expensive, so i moved back to Nakuru and started doing graphic design and typesetting since i loved working with computers and i had passion and experience in it. I have managed my time well and able to run the business all together and hoping to expand my business.

My Business

i operate acyber café which deals with printing and photocopy business at Nakuru town near Mount Kenya university Nakuru Campus. Most of my customers are university students who have made my business grow at a faster rate since most of the assignments given to them need to be typed and printed.I manage to make USD 20 and have been saving USD 5 for purchase of a better Epson printer. I would therefore request the Zidisha members to grant me a loan so that i can expand my business.

Loan Proposal

Hi,zidisha i would like to use the loan to buy a new better epson printer that cost atleast USD 220 so that i would able to have quality photo printing for passports,to improve speed on printing students work and also to give a better services on photocopy,scanning and others.Therefore,on doing this i would able to work for many students at ones and able to finished there job handed over to me in time with a quality work meeting there requirements.Hence,due to the services i would give them through the epson printer machine that i will buy from the loan you will offer to me,will increase my profit earnings with high amount by USD 40.Thus,the USD 20 profit that i will earn will enable me save for the mantainace of the machine and others such as the photocopier and computers,therefore some USD 10 savings i will use it to buy the ink catridges,photocopy papers and other materials for photocopy and printing work,therefore others saving from the profit earn from the service i will save for future.
