About Me

I am amarried man with one child, i live with my family in Nakuru town at machine centre, i am a graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University where i pursued a bachelor of business Administration. Currently am working at Shiners Girls as ahigh school teacher. i attend Seventh Day Adventist in Nakuru.I am a responsible man at school, at work place and in church, i engage in motivation talks to young people.I
decided to establish the business to enable me be able to provide for my family and be able to save more money and invest.

My Business

I operate a single unit shop located at Machine Centre in the outskirts of Nakuru Town, approximately 8 Km from Nakuru. Machine Centre is along the Nakuru/ Nairobi Old Highway.
I established my business 4 years ago with an aim of diversifying my income base to subsidize my monthly salary .I opted t open a single unit shop because of its flexibility during different times of economic change .In my shop I sell mainly food stuffs and other fast moving products such as airtime and other tangibles .I also serve food to workers of a small animal feeds firm adjacent to my shop . Machine is a fast growing centre due to new settling of people and the area demographic is improving everyday. My business is facing no risk because I deal with foodstuff whose demand is effective. Customers prefer my shop compared to my competitors because I supply what they demand and at very affordable prices and good customer relationship. I have not been able to serve a very big number as I would wish due to high cost.

Loan Proposal

Thank you zidisha team, volunteer mentor for assisting and allowing me to post loan I lost my first bid when it was almost fully funded. I believe lenders will fund my second bid. When I get this loan I will use it wisely as an additional capital to my personal savings to buy additional stock of food items such as flour meal (bought at very high rate since it is the staple food for most of Kenyan people for making ugali), one sack of sugar, cooking fat, oil, scratch cards. If the remaining balance would be enough I will construct a shade outside my shop and buy two benches to be used by my other customers who take lunch and breakfast from my shop
