My name is John Giathi Kariuki. i was born in 1993 in thika but later relocated to mugaa in nakuru county. i went schooling at mugaa primary school school and after completing primary education i joined gilgil. i later involved my self infarming since i found out that is the best source of income. i learnt this from my grandfather and also from my father. they have been earning alot through farming thus i decided to do the same.
i enjoy playing and watching football. it has been my hobby since primary school.
i enjoy farming. i therefore started poultry farming after school completion. i found out that this is my best source of income. i learnt from my grand father who had alot of hen.
i started with one hen where by it hatched twelve chicks. i fed them to maturity whereby now i have 104 hen and 56 chicks and i i have sold many including eggs.
the business has challenges since i fear fire outbreak and i dont have fire fighting materials. i also fear disease outbreak since i dont have the best control but looking forward to it.
i therefore request zidisha lender to support me with a loan to invent the best cages for my hen and chicks. i believe this will help me to control them from diseases hence will increase my profit to ensure i repay back the loan in time and with no difficulties.
kind regard
John Giathi
I want a loan of Kshs 788 to buy 15 kilograms of Chick feed. Each Kilogram costs Kshs 70. This will help me to be able to feed my already fast growing chicks and this will serve as a success for my long term goals in my project. I also intend to build a cage for more chicks in the near future. I am very grateful and will be grateful still to Zidisha lenders.
