I am called Moses Opiyo Okando.I completed my o-levels in the year 2005 and passed fairly with a mean grade of B- at KCSE level but couldn't proceed because of lack of fees.I opted to start a business rather than being jobless..Currently i reside in Bumala town where i do my business.I have used my earnings to earn a living and also have managed to purchase most of important household. At my rural i have two cattle local breed, goats and sheep.
In Kenya there are a lot of business opportunity and its capital that most of us lack to uplift our living standard so any lender should not worry on us and our business.
I reside in Bumala town to does my business there too.I am into Aggro-business majorly in rearing poultry. That is layers, kenbro and kienyeji also known local.I have lots of demand from Uganda and Busia.I started this business from one local hen which i bought ksh 250 and to date i have 312 birds.I sell fertilized eggs for incubation, normal eggs for consumption and chicken for meat. There is high demand for eggs in the local shops and chicken meat in the hotels, restaurant, supermarkets making the demand of my products to be higher all the time. The business is profitable especially when selling fertilized eggs to other farmers because one egg goes at ksh 30.
My monthly cost is around ksh 50000 on feeds and others and profit of ksh 18000.
I do always use one sack 70kgs packed of growers mash per week ksh 2700,kienyeji mash 70kgs packed @ ksh 2100 in one month, layers mash 70kgs packed @ ksh 2650 per week and chick mash 70kgs packed in two weeks.I am going to use this loan to buy these varrieties of feeds for the whole month so that when i will be doing my sales i will be just repaying my loan. Please kindly support me.
