About Me

Am jenipher anyango owino ,23 years of age.Born and raised in Busia county, work and live Busia town.I was was born in the family of 10 i being the second born.
I am holding diploma in ICT from KITI college at Nakuru and self employed at my cyber cafe in Busia town. I started my business immediately after my college so that to keep myself busy and also i may earn a living before i could secure any kind of job in future.
My business has been doing fine the fact that Busia is a border of Kenya and Uganda so i have lots customers who are using internet to clear their vehicle when they are crossing the border.
From the business i pay my own rent, feed myself and also support my family at home. I manage to support my mother in paying school fees for our siblings from the business

My Business

I run a small cyber cafe in Busia town. My business has seven computers, printers and binding machine and a laminating machine .The business is purely a sole proprietor of which i started with the capital from my savings and the soft loan i was given by my uncles and friends.

I offer internet service, printing, typing, photocopying, laminating and binding. The demand is high the fact that Busia is situated in Kenya Uganda border so most of my customers are those who want to cross the border so i offer my service for them while they clear and forward their vehicles.

My business is profitable because i have so many customers so the more i serve the more i earn. The risk am facing is just lack of capital to expand my business.

My monthly expendicuter KES 4000 rent,KES 8000 orange data bundles,KES 6000 and KES 5000 for other expences.Profit ranges from KES 10000-20000 per month. The loan i will used to get enough papers for my printing and photocopy jobs modify my business and its the business that will repay the loan.

Loan Proposal

I take this opportunity to thank you all,Zidisha team and all Zidisha lenders.I am very happy now because now i will be able to get the required capital for my business.I really need a new printing color machine which currently cost KES 8,500.Then i will also ten reams of printing paper at KES 4,300 and printing ink full color at KES 2,800.I know after stocking this i will be able to earn more and repay loan without problem.

I don't have any idea why your first payment was $11.00 but it looks to me like your payments are only $2.36 per week for 70 weeks?
