About Me

My name is Collins Owusu Bempah , 25 years of age.I had my basic education at White House Preparatory in Kumasi, Ghana. I belong to a family of seven siblings with my mom, Mrs Comfort Boamah and dad, Mr Opoku Antoh. I happened to be the fifth child of my parents.During my childhood days, my siblings and I walked aboout 4 Kilometers to school each day. My father at that time was a trader, as well as my mother. After school we would go to our parents shop to take some of the goods to their customers.Indeed, that wasn't an easy task at all, but we had no other choice than to help our parents in anyway we could. This we on from basic education through to my university education.I also had my secondary education at Adu Gyamfi Senior High School. During my days at school, despite the financial canker that i was facing at the i was schooling , i got the chance to aspire for the position of a school chaplain and scripture union Vice president . After voting , i was inducted into office in 2007/2008 academic year. After my 9th grade education , i got an admission into the university to read Bachelor Of Arts in Philosophy and classics and Theater Arts. At the university i was the organizing member of the Living Legend group and Pentecost Students and Associates. i have graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and Theater Arts.(second class Upper Honours). Currently, due to the rapid and fast increase in unemployment and other related issues, i set up my own sole proprietorship Business with a personal savings i accumulated over the years to set up a business.

My Business

I own a CollinsWood Printing Press Limited with 4 desktop computers, a scanner and 2 printers in Kumasi, Ghana.Due to the advancement of technology in our current world, people access the internet and print their documents for a number of reasons such as research and learning, sending emails to penpals and business associates etc. In the course of that they scan their documents and at the same time print materials.I chose this business because people are ready to access the internet for the reasons said earlier, also many of the people in my locality are illiterates but have shown the passion and eagerness to learn the computer in order to compete with the outside world. The cost for this business is 500 GHC and my current revenue is 60 GHC a week. I will use the profit for reinvestment in growing the business.

Loan Proposal

i will use this loan to buy desktops computers, a scanner and a printer for my Cybercafe and printing press business and 290 dollars will be adequate to buy a printer, a scanner and desktop computers for my printing press business. The introduction of these gadgets into my business will create jobs for the youth in my community because when these machines are being bought, i have planned to employ two persons to work at my work place and also it will create a lot of benefits for both the students and other members in my community and for me as an individual and a young graduate entrepreneur in my village because my business will expand and my profit margin will also increase by it . when i buy these machines, it will also help both the students and the adults in my community to do their research work , print their documents and scan their documents as well and to learn and study as well. Due to the fast growth and increase in technology in my village both the young and the old will be using it to accessing their stuffs and group work.
