My name is Safari Katana Kidhongo,married to one wife with four children,three are schooling while the fourth born still breast-feading and yet joined the school.I live Kakwakwani village in Chalani sub-location in Kaloleni location in Kaloleni division Kilifi county.I'm a farmer.I'm a class eight leaver learnt at Mtsengo primary school.I started this business basically to earn a living and to improve my family.I purchase various items from the earnings of my business such as manure,seedlings,jembes,water,pesticides,papers,fence wire,labour,huricanes for watering my plants and drinkers for my chicks etc.Also buy clothes,medicine,food and pay school fee for my children etc.

My Business

My business is farming; agricultural and livestock.It provides that rearing of agricultural plants and livestock in the same farm for commercial purposes.There is high demand of this business because people around our place/clients depend entirely on agricultural products.My customers prefer to my business because my prices are fare hence it is a manufacturer price and the products are ever available at my place.The business is profitable because,for instance I sell one hen at ksh:300 and a sack of okra at ksh. 600 and one sack of maize I sell at ksh:1500.Risks that face my business is security and storage.My typical monthly income is ksh:35000/= and my monthly expenditure is ksh:20000/= my profit is therefore ksh:15000/= of which can repay Zidisha loan without any problem.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan in buying the following items;Local fertilizer worth 4.84543 dollars, seeds worth 2.42272dollars, pesticides and weeding-work 9.69086 dollars, transportation 2.42272 dollars, tools such as jembe, panga, rake, shovel, hoe etc worth 48.4543 dollars, packing and marketing 96.9086 dollars. Its my great hope that after the season, will have earned a good income amounting to not less than Ksh. 25000.
