am george okoth magati am 22 years old am the first born of the four i went to school for my o level at naki high school after that i passed and i was in position to do business management at kenya institute industrial institution from their i learn many way of generating money from the lessons i was in position to know that through farming i can make a living with less tress.from their i also got motivation from my dad who is a farmer and because their the because their are no jobs i opts to farming and from these i have been running my life well with less of stress

My Business

i do farming for a living something that i have inherited from my family . i farming a rented farm for three plot i plant kales tomatoes onion and coriander i sale my products at the market on market days and most of the the time i sale them to local hotels here at the center i sale my vegetable from 20/= to the desired size of the customers i harvest three bags of kale's every week i mange to raise 6000/= shillings for a week with tomatoes i collect then after three months i when planting tomatoes i use 8000/= on one plots while the other plot i do it for vegetables with corieder i sell then to home at retail at at the markert to whole sales i them as from 5 sh to desired zie of the customer the largest is in a chondo which i sell it for 2000/=during the rainy season i plant maize at my rural home back at ayweyo i plant maize on three acres which i manage to get 40-45 bags of maize which sale at the market and some supply in local hotels for their use from my farming i manage to collect a profit to collect 8000-10000 profit per month minus those days i have maize in my stock. when i have maize i manage to sale my maize and raise 100000/= from these i have been able to run my life with less stress farming have helped me to one responsible young man.

I thank a lot Zidisha organization for giving me loan.I am a small scall farmer and i come before you to lend me so that i may buy farm input.
$150 i will use to buy water pump.This will allow me to do irrigation even during dry season.I will be able to produce fresh vegetable and tomatoes.I will also be able to sell this products at high price because during dry season few people plant tomatoe and vegetables,hence making more profit.$70 i will use to buy drugs like pesticide and fungicide.$50 buy seeds of highbreed tomatoes and vegetables.$80 to buy DAP fertilizer,$50 CAN fertilizer, $20 maize seed and $30 for labour.

    Dear lenders let me change my repayment becausse i used all the amount in farming and i have not started harvesting yet.Paying ksh 300 per week is giving me hardtime now,please i beg you to allow me pay ksh 200 for now per week.Very soon i will start picking tomotoes for sell and at that point i will reschedule again to a larger amount.

    Hello Zidisha lenders and the management team,
    It was indeed a lovely communication over the phone this evening when I ringed George Magati due to his Zidisha loan repayment and he did confirmed to me that he was to make the repayment of Friday but the systems had a delay whereby he managed to make his payments on Saturday whereby his account is yet to be credited within 3 business working days.
