About Me

My name is Lambon Tanko and i'm a married man with four children. I come from Nalerigu in the northern region of Ghana. I was born and brought up in a small village called Tambona. Tambona is about 10km from Nalerigu. After completing junior high school, my father couldn't help me to further my education due to ill health and financial problems. I then decided to move to the southern part of Ghana to seek for greener pastures. Finally, i settled in the southern part of Ghana, specifically in a town called Agona.

My Business

I'm into farming where i cultivate a number of crops in cash crops such as cocoa and cashew. I also grow vegetables like garden eggs, tomatoes, carrots and cabbage. It's this work that helps me to take care of family. I have been in the farming business for almost 12 years now and infact it's very lucrative. I make a lot of money from the selling of my farm produce. I have not regreted being a farmer. I therefore hope that when i'm given this loan, it will help me to increase my production.

Loan Proposal

This loan will be used in buying the following inputs;

1. Weedicides=300gh 2. Fertilizers(NPK)=500gh 3. Seedlings= 160gh 4. Cutlases= 150gh 5. Pesticides= 400gh. In all 1,510gh can help me to get the inputs listed above. This will help me to produce more vegetables as well as increase my weekly sales. It will help me to engage more hands on board to help make work move faster.

Income Source

I understand the fact that many businesses face a lot of risks these days because the covid. Aside the covid there are a lot of risks in the system but as business man you should always bear in mind that, anything can happen to your business and therefore u have made provisions for any unforeseen situation. I have always been saving part of my profit i make every week. In case of any unfortunate situation this money would be used to take care of it..
