About Me

Thika road primary school where I did my k.c.pe in 2001, then proceeded to jamhuri high school for my k.c.s.e certificate. after that I worked in a laundry called Arena for two yrs then went back to learn in Nairobits school of design in 2008 where I handled a bit of graphic designs for three months. I am not yet married since at the moment most of responsibilities are on me, I also have an intention of completing one of the courses I began at K.C.A University, I come from a poor background and most of other siblings don’t have jobs. We try to support each other because of these reasons. After college I opened a barbershop in 2009 that I run up to this moment. This is where I have also attached a play station where kids come to play. this has brought a lot of challenges because I have a few computers that also see some of I am a Kenyan citizen 28 years of age and God fearing I am the seventh born in a family with eight siblings. Went to my clients leave because of the long que.this is where I came to learn about zidisha and I am thankful to God for making this possible.

My Business

It is a barbershop that offers quality services and I have a great team that are dedicated to see customers happy and satisfied. This can never be with a few challenges, just to mention a few; Lack of manpower, some more shaving machine and at least a few more computers. On manpower I really want to train some more young people to help me serve my customers effectively and this Is where I am glad that zidisha is here with us would like to add a few seats for shaving and also add computers so that i can reduce the long ques and leave room for more customers to come in thereby increasing my income. it is in my plans also to open a massage parlor because people in my area have to travel a few kilometers for the same service. Despite all the challenges that goes together with these businesses, it is from these businesses I pay my Rent, buy my clothes, support my family members, and also do little savings. Currently I make approximately $.225 a month. I hope when given a chance to improve these businesses I can raise the profit. I want to thank the zidisha organization in advance hoping that my plea will be considered.

Loan Proposal

To beat the regular power outages,I will take $ 38 to buy inverter, I will also take $ 76 to buy a car battery. I am also intending to start selling snacks in front of my business premise hence planning to buy charcoal burner for heating fried sausages and boiled eggs, this will cost me about $ 54 . the remaining $ 42 I will use to add an extra machine for shaving.i will be more than pleased if u lend me a helping hand.thanks all
