About Me

My names are Carol Wangui Njogu.I'm 29 years old.I come from a humble christian family background .I am a single mother of two children,a boy (Charles Mugane)and a girl (Everline Mugure). They are 12 years and 9 years respectively. My children do attend Imara-Daima Preparatory school which is located about 15 minutes walk from my residence.
I am a church member at African Inland church under Reverend Mary wairumu Muraya. I am also a choir leader.I do the business of selling second hand clothes. This business has really changed my life situation because it has given me money that has enabled me to pay my rent, bills and even take my children to school.

My Business

My business is located here at Kawangware Market.I own a small store called Urembo outfits. It involves selling of imported second-hand clothes.I started this business four years ago.My business is licensed under the Kiambu County Government authorities and issued with a valid annual single permit license to operate the business.
I sell mostly women dresses. This is because women clothes moves much faster than men and children clothes.I usually buy the goods at Gikomba Market which i mostly buy at a wholesale price and later resells at a retail price. From this business i have managed to take my children to a good school for the quality education and also it has sustained my daily needs.
I am requesting the Zidisha Micro-finance to fund my business so as to add more bales of clothes which i have identified their source at Eastleagh,Nairobi and at Kampala,Uganda.I believe that once we walk hand in hand,my business will grow more that it is today. It is my prayer that Zidisha team will consider my proposal and approve my loan.Thank you in advance.

Loan Proposal

I will add more new clothes and fashions mostly new ones, which i have identified the source at Eastleagh,Nairobi and at Kampala,Uganda.Since we are heading to the Easter festivity there will be more demand of the new clothes and of different fashions.I believe that once we walk hand in hand,my business will grow more that it is today.

Thanks again to all my lenders. I am pleased to inform you that my business has improved very much. The money that I received enable me to buy two bales of second hand clothes. I sorted out the clothes and ironed them for my customers. They now look presentable and my customers like them.

I sincerely take this opportunity to thank all my lenders for the support that they have given me when they funded my second loan.May God bless you. Through this loan, I have now bought new stock of clothes. I also painted my shop. Due to the budget that I had, I have spend so much money. I would therefore like to reduce my weekly payment to 500/=

I am appealing to lenders to assist me. I need this loan to add more stocks of clothes. My current stock is almost finished and I would like to use this loan together with my profit to add two more stock of clothes.

recently I read that now lenders can propose their own interest rates up to a maximum of 15%. This interest rate is still very good when I compared it to the interest rates in my country. I therefore welcome all lender's fundings.

recently I read that now lenders can propose their own interest rates. Well, I would like to let my lenders know that am comfortable with maximum interest rate that range between 6%- 14%. I also welcome lenders who can lend me at lower interest rates. Thank you and God bless you

Thank you so much my lenders. I intended to pay this loan this week but I am unable as I had planned. This is because of the increase of price of school text books. My children reported back to school on Tuesday this week. Because of the increased prices, I found myself using more money than I intended. I therefore wish to reschedule this loan and pay it next week. Thank you
