About Me

I am Francis Ooko. A high school teacher in Kenya. I got employed way back in 2014 and upto now I have finished 3 years in the service. I am employed by Teachers Service Commission Kenya. I also run a small scale shop for the side hustle. The loan i get from Zidisha helps me to run this side business and helps me a great deal. Thank you Zidisha. I have always gotten a loan from you.

My Business

My main source of income is the salary i get from teachers service commission as a teacher. I get a gross salary amount of Kshs 50000 and after tax i get a net salary of Kshs 35000 monthly salary. Apart from the salary i run a small scale shop as a side where monthly i get Ksh 7000 to Kshs 10000. I decided to start this small scale shop because salary alone is not enough. I am married. I have a wife and a daughter who operates the business at home as i work in another county within Kenya

Loan Proposal

I want to borrow this loan and use it for stocking my small scale shop that I own and is run by my wife at home. I am employed by Teachers Service Commission to teach in a school in Kisii County but my wife and kid stays in the country side and takes care of the shop when i am engaged in school
