About Me

My name is William Ing'ea son of Wilson Kisyang'a and Lidya Mukeli. I was born on 6th,January, 1969. I come from Ndivu Illage, Kisiiki Sub-Location, Mavoloni Location, Yatta Sub-County in Machakos County. The name of my Chief is Kelly Ndung'a and the assistant Chief is Peter Mutuku.
I went to Kisiiki Primary School (1976-1986), Mangu High School(1987-1990), University of Nairobi(1991-1996), Graduated with B.A. IN Building Economics & Management. I am Currently a Quantity Surveyor working with the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, based at the headquarter office, along Ngong Road, commuinity area-Nairobi KENYA.
In addition to being a Public Servant, i also engage in Farming activity. I have 200 mature grafted mango plants on three acres of land.
I would like to apply for loan to fence off the shamba to prevent people and wild animals from invading the fruit firm.

My Business

In addition to being a Public Servant, i also engage in Farming activity. I have 200 mature grafted mango plants on three acres of land. The last time i was given a loan of USD 137 and i was able to purchase Six (6) Rolls of barbed wire which is enough to fence the Mango Farm. I would now like to apply for loan to purchase Twelve (12) Rolls of Chainlink. The estimated cost is USD 552 only. Once i get this loan I will make some savings to purchase the necessary fencing posts and complete the Fencing project.

Loan Proposal

I wiil purchase Twelve(12) Rolls of chainlink to complete the fencing Project that I started with the first Loan. The project is estimated to cost about Kshs 48,000 or USD 552. This project is very important because once it is completed, the fence will prevent both bad people and animals9both domestic and wild animals) from entering my farm and destroy or people from stealing the fruits. This will increase the amount of fruit harvested and hence increase production and amount received from fruit sales.

    Dear Lenders,

We have some very sad news about William to pass on to you today. After a long battle with leukemia, William passed away on Monday, February 23rd. He had been diagnosed with the disease four months ago, and spent time in several hospitals receiving treatment. Most recently he was admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi on Saturday.

Our thoughts are with William's family and loved ones during this difficult time.

    Thank you,
    Bayle, Country Liaison Manager

I thank Zidisha Organization and the financiers for supporting me Financially. My first loan of USD 150 was disbursed to me on 26th. June, 2014. This loan really helped me alot as i was able to fence part of my Mango Farm using Barbed Wire and wooden treated cedar poles. Now i have kept wild animals and trespassers away from my firm. I have now repaid 56?% of the loan. Than very much the Zidisha Team!
