My names are George Wambugu, a second son in a family of five children. I grew up in the Mahiga village which in rural areas. we had ans still had many problems like drinking river water, going without lunch during bad years and being sent out school for fess were not enough. Both my parents have no permanent education, they are peasant farmers and what they grow is only for food. At other times my father buys and sells cows. But we grew up disciplined and determined to change our live. Personally after secondary school education i did not do very well but i qualified for primary school teaching college. I am currently doing early childhood development so i can teach kindergarten and lower classes. during holidays i go teaching to in nearby schools to gather some money. At college which is in Nakuru Town, I look for part time jobs which i do during weekends for upkeep and i still save some. I will hopefully be through with college after this year.
My source income includes part time jobs. I have several children that I teach (we call it tuition) as a privately hired teacher by local parents. I teach from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. so they each pay Kshs 400 in a week. During long holidays, i teach at local schools as a parent-hired teacher and i usually get a net regular monthly salary of Kshs 5000. At college, I have organized tuition same hours 7.00 to 9.00pm and parents around town pay better Kshs 600 per week per child. During weekends daytime i look for suitable prearranged job. we call it piece work, that is, one weekend I can be counting timbers in one place and the next weekend I can be offloading lorries. Weekend Jobs are random. I realize there is so much to do out there but I want to complete my education first. I need a loan to add to my college fees this term. thanks to all zidisha people.
I need a loan of 100 dollars so that I can complete my college fees for this semester running from January to April. Currently I have paid more than half the fees and I am working hard to complete the remaining part. This loan will greatly help me to clear fees at once, then i will work extra harder to clear the loan. Since I will not be paying fees any more, I will easily be able to save money to repay the loan. The main problem here is that the college needs the money at once. If I can get a loan, i will pay them at once and then i will start repaying zidisha weekly installments. I request zidisha lenders to fund my loan application so that I settle fees and then start working smoothly to repay the loan. Thanks so much.
