my father was facing a financialproblem due to that I couldn’tcontinue my educ ation school. I stopped schooling and went to help myUncle in his guinea fowl poultryfarming business at Techiman Tia, helpingmy uncle really enables me to becomemore skillful in poultry rearing and I workedwith my uncle for couple of years I wasbeing paid every month and also I learnthow to manage poultry business, Idecided to start my own guinea fowlpoultry business in Zebilla with the moneysaved when I was working with uncleStart my own guinea fowl poultry farmingwasn’t easy for me although.

My Business

I am a young with a good vision that to start my own guineafowl poultry business. In the year2010 I decided to start my own farming inwhich I gone through a lot of challengeswhich was not easy for me. I started with a smallcapital which was able to acquire about100 birds and now I have about 1000birds in my yard, and my problem now is thebirds feeds, the price of maize has beenincrease because the last cultivation of maizewas not good due to insufficient rainfall. Andalso fish meal has increase it pricefrom $30 to $55.. With the support from zidisha,i will beable to feed my birds well andalso able to get good price from the birds.It will alsohelp me to increase my profitmargin,expand my business and also support theneedy in my community.
