About Me

My name is Sandra Kyeraa Teku. Iam from Sunyani Dumasua but i live at Dumase in the Bron Ahafo Region of Ghana. I stated my basic education at sacred heart basic school at sunyani the regional capital of Brong Ahafo. i continue to sunyani senior high where i offered science as my course so i am a pure science student.
After my secondary education i taught of furthering to the university to study medicine but my dream couldn't come through due financial constrain that my parents uncounted and my elderly brother who was assisting me also had so loan to settle .
looking at how things where going i approached my brother to give money to start my food vending business to cater for myself and support the family too since he is no longer capable of funding as due to his loan.
After having my capital i started the traditional restaurant as you can see in my photo { kenkey and fish, hot pepper and beans stew } . I choose this kenkey business because maize is easy to come by and my mom also know how to prepare it well hence she assisted me in cooking . Though the beginning was tough at time i carried it from house to house before it gets finish but as time goes on people of my area got to me me and quality of my food and they rather were chasing me at joint.

My Business

''Aben Wo Ha'' special is the name of my restaurant of food joint. i sell kenkey, gridded pepper, and fried fish and beans stew.
it is found at Dumase on the kwatire road about a stone throw from the maize market of Dumase. i intended to do this business because raw materials for my food preparation is easy to come by since most of our people are maize farmers.
Again i realized that its difficult to get food at my area especially in the afternoon to buy. Also due to the financial problems facing my family i also taught of doing something to better my life my family members hence i entered into food vending{kenkey selling}.
Actually my capital is small and i am also getting more customers so it calls for expansion and proper place for sitting and enjoyment. i wish if i could be granted $120 a week i can make profit of $35 or more since people now rush in for their balance diet. This will also help my community to get better food to enjoy. The loan can also help me to get better place and also meet the sanitation standard in our country. when i get the loan too and make this $35 profit i will reinvest into kenkey business. i will also buy microwave to heat the food when cold .
i will plead with lenders to assist me and i will not let you down .

Loan Proposal

If i am giving this loan i will buy microwave, a bag of maize, beans and buy liquid soap.
A bag of maize ; $45
Beans{30 cups} ;$40
soap ; $20
Upon getting these items i can provide quality services to my people and my household too will get something to eat.
As my profit increases some of the money will also be saved to further my education to tertiary . presently my mom and one other neighbor have been employed at my traditional restaurant ''Aben Wo Ha' kenkey special.
I know as works or business goes on i can get $35 as profit which is 25% rise in my income and can be used to settle my debt and also save for the future. I hope maximum consideration will be given to my application.
