About Me

My name is Asiedu Bright. I am the first born of my parents. I attended Grace preparatory and Junior High School. After Junior High School I furthered my education in Sunyani Senior High School. After which I continue to University of Education,Winneba.

I dreamed to be Chartered Accountant when I was in Junior High School but after my Senior High Education, life was not easy all for me. There was no money to further my tertiary education. So I decided to teach in a newly establish preparatory school for three years. While teaching, I was farming as well. I planted maize on my grand mother's piece of land. So I got money to buy a four acre land to plant cocoa.
With time I got admission into the university to read Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting). My uncle helped me through my tertiary education.

The people in my community are kind and hospitable. Most of them are farmers. The children in the community like schooling. Some of them wants to be doctors while others want to be entrepreneur when they grow.

I like watching football on weekends an d listening to music during my leisure time.

My Business

Though I have been educated in the university to be an accountant, I do farming work. Getting employment in Ghana after tertiary education is difficult in recent times in my country. So I have embarked on serious farm business. I grow cocoa. Now I have a five acre cocoa farm in my community.
The demand for cocoa in the world market is very high. This is because cocoa is used in the manufacturing of many products. Some of these products are milo, chocolate, pomade etc.
My cost of operation is $200 per week and my revenue is $600 for the month.
I use part of my profit for reinvestment and support payment of school fees for children in my community.

Loan Proposal

Why I am given the loan, I am going to hire a farm land to cultivate maize. The cost of hiring the farm land is $250. The maize will generate another source of income aside my cocoa farm. I am expecting 70% returns on my investment.
