About Me
My name is winjila I'm 25 years old and come from humble family of four. I went to primary school at makhokho primary after which I joined makhokho secondary for the high school educacation.after completing high school,I did not have money to undergo further education so I had to join my parents in doing farm activities so that we could earn a living. Things changed when my dad died in key 2013. After the burial,I moved to kakamega town where I did part-time casual jobs. These really helped me to think business because I had saved some money,that's now how the idea of starting a retail shop came about.
My Business
I run a kiosk that sales basic food products like maize, beans, bread, sugar, blueband.I Chose these type of work because I realise that in my neiborhood people have to walk long distances to access this product s. This business gives me a profit of 2usd per day. I save part of the profits which I use to pay for my child s school fees. The kiosk is on my land. So I don't pay rent. I would like to increase my profit so that I have a bigger shop.
Loan Proposal
I will buy more foodstuffs for my kiosk like bread, milk, tea leaves, blueband, sugar, rice, roycocubes, salt, ginger, paperbags, shoe Polish, ground nut so, these will cost me approximately, 150usd, the remaining balance I will buy books for my child and school uniform. Then I will also be able to clear her school fees. Wish to increase my profit up to 5usd per day.
