My name is Appiah Joseph, people normally call me AJ. I am noted for my dark complexion.
I completed Secondary School in the year 1985 at Berekum Secondary School. My family could not afford to fund for continuation of my education so i found a way of taking care of myself through trading. I have two children, Asomah Appiah and Akua Appiah: Asomah wants to be a nurse in the future and Akua also wants to learn marketing. From my personal experience through life and the vicissitudes that comes with it, i have dedicated myself to work hard and serve my children so that they can climb more far than where i have reached.
Fufu with groundnut soup is my favourite dish. But i also like meat a lot.
I usually hangout with friends during my leisure time. We usually discuss what we can do to improve our lives. I like hanging out with them because they often give me courage to move on .
I am a dealer in the sales of second hand sneakers. We usually buy them in bulk from Kumasi, Ashanti Region and bring them back to sell at home. I have my many loyal customers due to my honesty and sales of quality and beautiful used shoes and sneakers. I also travel to neighbouring towns during certain days in the week; Wednesday and Friday. That has also helped my business a lot. The market is booming and the demand for such goods are very high. If i am given this loan i can easily sell them and repay it on time. I love this business because i have learn a lot
I need about $100 to retail more second-hand sneakers and supply them to schools in my area and deprived areas and surrounding villages. Sometimes headmasters of some primary schools retail them for pupils in very deprived areas. This loan will help me supply them more since demand continues to increase day in and day out. People in my community who cannot afford brand new shoes will also benefit and also help me gain money to look after myself and my family. My sneakers are very affordable so people buy them more easily.
The market is already there and purchases of my goods are high so i will be able to pay back the loan.
