My names are Danson Mutune I was born on 28th may 1974 in othaya Nyeri county being the second born in the family of five. My parents relocated to Gilgil where they were working when I was young. I attended gitare primary school in the outskirts of Gilgil town in Nakuru County. After school, I later joined Aruti secondary school in solai and completed my education in 1993. After school I joined Mathenge technical institute for a course in motor vehicle mechanic and I graduated with a diploma in 1997 I am married to my lovely wife and blessed with two children.
My business is basically dealing with buying and selling of livestock. I deal mostly with sheep and goats. I started my business in the year 2002 with my little savings from my former employer Zetech Kenya limited. I decided to venture into business after I realized I need more money to take care of my family and also to educate my children. I started this kind of business because there was great demand for meat in Gilgil town prompting to capitalize of this demand. I usually get my animals from the markets of Rumuluti, maralar and suswa wich I transport to Gilgil town and sell them to the local butchers. My business does well as I am left with good profits margin. It is from these proceeds that I was able to buy a piece of land at Gema estate and build my residential house where I live with my family. Some of the challenges my business faces is luck of enough capital to buy more animals to sustain my orders. With zidisha platform I will be able to overcome these challenges.
Thanks a lot to the entire zidisha team for according me this chance to become a zidisha member. for this first loan i will increase the number of sheep and goat that i purchase weekly for sale to the local butchers. this will increase my profit margin threefold. by so doing i will improve my livelihood and that of my immediate family. be blessed as you contribute towards filling my bids.
