Am Mark Danquah 27 years of age from Ghana.
I run laboratory test like, blood grouping, typhoid test , malaria test, full blood count, sugar level estimation etc.
This is a field i was trained at the University as a professionaland I managed to raise some capital to start my own job. because i don't have to wait for someone to employ me so I thought it necessary to start from msomewhere my own.
Am from Ghana West-Africa Christian country very peaceful place to raise your children.
I really love foot ball and reading about books of successful people in life.

My Business

I provide medical laboratory services to mu community. I run laboratory test like haematology, microbiology, parasitology and chemistry test
The basics of the testing includes medical exam screening, blood grouping, fasting glucose level, sickling and genotyping, haemoglobin test and many others.
The health of the people is needed and due to the community population many people have to visit health facilities regularly and hence finding myself in the community as a private health provider puts me at a good advantage.
Am a Biomedical Scientists and this was the field I was trained at the University.
I choose this business because I realize people have to go and join long que at the hospitals to undertake laboratory test and again I saw that there were some test they could get results on few minutes hence had to materialize my talent to bless the community.
Is very costly running laboratory services winces some of the machines cost around 500 dollars, 800 dollars and sometimes more than 1000 dollars.
I started small by linking with other big facilities in order to help me deliver quality services because of insufficient resources.
but with the little I make profit ranging from 500- 1000 dollars and can say is a profitable business although I share my profit I still make good money
.As a policy to grow my business I mostly reinvest my profit after buying my reagents and business is growing

Loan Proposal

Zidisha blessed me with my first Loan for my Laboratory and i made 50% increase in my profit and business has been so great.
i bought a new equipment with my first loan and business grow massively.
Now there is a new area in the laboratory field which is chemistry test, which include fasting blood glucose level, liver function test, lipid profile, kidney function Test and etc.
The machine is costly and the semi-automated one is between 500-1500 dollars.
Is a field a lot of clients have been coming but am not able to deliver because i don't have the equipment.
I have saved a little which if Zidisha support me again i can buy the new chemistry machine.
The machine is more costly than the loan amount am requesting but i have sold some shares of my business temporary with a partner who is also a businessman beacuse of the new machine am looking for. The prtner has agreed to pay 50% of the cost of the new equipment and is also aware that am working with zidisha. Again i have spoken with the supplier of the analyser and they have agreed to spread the payment within a period of four months after making part payment.
I expect my profit to increase by 25% with this new machine which will go a long way to help my business grow and help my community obtain quality healthcare.
I will be grateful to receive help from my lenders again.
