About Me

Am 26 years old finished my college at Jomo Kenyatta university of Agriculture graduated with a Diploma in Information Technology in 2012.

I did not manage to get a good job and got employed in a certain cyber cafe operating as an attendant. the cyber is near my home in Eldoret. As much as the job was doing well my employer was paying me $45 per month which wouldnt sustain me well. this was because i could only be left with $5.55 to save every month. the amount i could save too wasnt of much help to me in realising my dream as it got used up when handling any emmergency that could arise.This is when I thought of raising capital to start my own after seeing how much the business was making in a day and month.

My Business

My main problem was raising capital, my friends and relatives did boost me with $375 of which I used to purchase 2 second hand computers two and some necessities that i required. I registered the business too. Found a room and paid the rent $50 per month. My business is situated in Moi university Eldoret. my main customers are students schooling in campus.

Am a young and fast growing entrepreneur being in business for the last two years. I have three computers for my customers to do their browsing. i also offer scanning , photocopying , printing , lamination and sales of stationeries, flash disks, memory cards.

The computers are few and this leaves many of my customers heading to the cyber that i was once an employee. I hope for a day that my business will grow have like 10 computers or more so as not to loose my customers. All this comes by through hard work and sacrifice which am willing to do.

its is then that a friend informed me of Zidisha.org. i felt relieved and knew i would get help by being funded and someday realise my dream. that is having buying more computers even getting a bigger well ventilated room for my clients. This is when i decided to join and borrow a loan.

if given the loan i would want to purchase a new printer worth $50.my current printer got spoilt and after consultations with my electrician he advised me to purchase a new one as my old printer would cost much in repair and maybe would not deliver for me the service i require it to do for me. in a day of work from the printer i make $2.20 and in a week i make $13.33 but currently due to not offering printing services my daily earning have reduced by a similar amount.On average with a good printer my earnings are $7.77 thus in a week $46.60.

if funded my earnings will shoot up even more because i will purchase a new printer therefore work without any printer breakdowns. I can the be in a position to pay back the installments up to $11.11 per week.


As at now i am still single and have no wife nor children. i am hoping to have my self stable financially so that i can be in a position to provide my family and children a better life
