About Me

I am Hannah Borkor and I come from the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. My parents come come from the Greater Accra Region and they are Ga's. Ga is a tribe in Ghana who speak the language called Ga they are mostly from the greater Accra Region. I am married with four boys. The first born has just completed the senior high school. He read General Arts and wants to be a journalist. My husband is a marine engineer and he normally travels a lot. He comes home normally on occasions like Christmas, New Year, and Easter celebrations. I also love cooking a lot. I sell cooking utensils in Accra central market and also cook for occasions like weddings, engagements, festivals, and birthday parties.

My Business

I am a petty trader by profession and also cook as well. I really love cooking and let me say that is my o. I make my own recipes most of the time. I have been into selling for the past 17years. Some of the items I have sold before are torchlights, clothes, shoes both for gents, ladies, and children. I sometimes do door to door service with this trade and it has really yielded a lot over the past years. I have made more customers because of this door to door service I do. My customers are now asking for some new brand of clothes in town called though target. It has been in town for sometime now and those who have sewn dresses with it testify it has a good quality. With my door to door service, I get the time to take care of my family since I work at my own time and pace, unless there is a high demand from my customers, even with that I negotiate the time of delivery with them but I also make sure they get satisfied with the time.

Loan Proposal

My customers are now asking for some new brand of clothes in town called though target. It has been in town for sometime now and those who have sewn dresses with it testify it has a good quality. High target is of a good quality but not expensive that is why most women use it now in Ghana. Some women also use it for their weddings. I have very in able to gather some money and I now need about $165 more to add up and purchase some of the prints of this cloth and supply them to my customers. I would be grateful when ZIDISHA funds this loan because it would go a long way of helping me keep my customers. This is because I will be in the position to supply them of what ever goods they ask for. This would also increase the trust between myself and my customers and in turn make them happy. Thank you very much.
