About Me

Am a boy of 27 years of age. am single as in not married, i come from a family of five and the only boy among the other four girls. i was born and raised in a city called Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I had my Basic Education in Berekum at Experimental primary and Demonstration Junior High School.Am currently pursuing a four year Degree in Basic Education at University of Education, Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana. My story is that, due to broken home i was made to stay with my grand-mum whose was a single mother taking care of ten (10) children and grand-children with no particular work as such so one can imagine the hardship i went through and this inspires me most to get to this level. Due to the for-mentioned problems i was made to start business when i was 13years of age which i use to sell kerosine so as to raise money for my up keep and books, so i was much interested in doing business which ended me at the secondary school offering Business as my course of study. How it all started is that, i help my fathers younger brother to start a private school business and with the experience i encountered during working with him inspire's me and he always says whatever i aim at doing i should stay focus and with determination i can do it, so i took some inspiration from his words and life. I was able to raise a school i started with a population of 30 students after four years to a population of four hundred and forty nine (449) . So having taking inspiration from the above mention experience's i was geared into setting up my own business which by God grace i made it. In simple terms i will say my land/ country Ghana is a unique country with good people who are always welcoming and ready to accept anybody. My hobbies are reading, chatting, and watching football. Thank You.

My Business

With my business background and interest in doing business, i started a stationery business which i have named in my local dialect as '' Me Dimafo Te ase'' which means my redeemer live. First i stated with my up-keep money so it was just small which i used to sell them in my hands like hand business but as time goes on i had some capital and improve upon it. Now is no more hand business but a table business. I sell everything about Education like ( Books, story books, pens, rulers, maths sets, etc) . My biggest problems so far is that i want to open my business but am always stuck when it comes to financial aid to open up the business but thanks be to a friend who introduce Zidisha as a helping hand in his business. So i would be much grateful if my proposal for loan to support my stationery business would be considered and i promise to redeem and remain loyal to Zidisha and also tell others about Zidisha. My stationery business is useful and demand is high because, most student on campus find it difficult taking the pain to go outside the campus all the time to buy items but since am always available and also a colleague, they find it always good and time saved to do business with me. I chose to stationery business because it was not common here and since it matters most here that's why i started this business. In all, am able to make some sales every week and most importantly make some revenue too. since items demand is high here, i always have to also use the capital to replace the items that i short all the time. About how i use my profit, firstly as i said earlier on that am student and a business man, meaning i have combine doing business and at the same time studying and i have being doing this for the past four years. i use some of my profit for my fees, up-keep and also do reinvestment into growing my business. Thank You and counting on your cooperation.

Loan Proposal

As mentioned earlier on, am into stationery business and as such i will use the loan to buy items for my stationery business. I sell all kinds of educational items like Pens, Pencils, Rulers, maths-set and all kinds of Books (maths, science, English language etc.)
Items Price (dollars$)
pens, pencils, rulers, maths-set 12(all)
Books 40
The loan will benefit me so as to expand my business and will help other student to cut down cost of going outside the campus to buy items. it will save their pain of walking that far just to buy items. When am being granted the loan, thus if my loan proposal is considered, i would buy more items which are in short of demand because of financial constrains so as to meet demand and i hope this approach will help me to improve in my sales every week and thereby increase my profit by 45% . i also indent to reinvest my profit into my business in order to grow my business so as to be able to meet the demand of my customers.
