About Me

I'm Gabriel Ayemba from Kakamega county. Kakamega is found in western part of Kenya. I'm 65 years of age.I started maize production when I completed standard seven. I did well in my examination but opted to to enrol in secondry education due to financial situation s. I'm hardworking man with ambitions, I'm working so hard to support my grand children in their education together with my wife.

My Business

My business came to exist when I discovered my ability to do farming. I have passion in my farming job. I'm a small scale farmer, I have been growing varieties of crops in my farm. The major crops I grow are maize, beans, ground nuts, cassava and potatoes, I also include other varieties of crop subsidize my major ones. I usually do rotational cropping.

Loan Proposal

I will use 5 usd to purchase seeds, 3 USD to purchase fertilizer and 5 USD will go for labour. I will be able to generate good amount of money to expand my business and also to repay Zidisha loan.

Income Source

I do part time welding, the money I earn I can use bit of it to repay zidisha loan incase my main income will be low.
