About Me

I am a graduate from Kenya Railways Institute with a great passion for business. My business typically deals with supplying garments and readymade male clothes to retailers. I started this business while I was still in school and am greatly inspired by the returns I have been accruing. I have been operating the business in small scale since it has been a part time activity due to my studies. Now that I am through with my studies I would like to expand it for higher returns. I am highly optimistic with my venture and I believe it’ll change my economic status.

My Business

The repayment of the loan will be financed fully by my business. My business involves selling garments used in making clothes to tailors and supplying clothes to boutiques and other clothes retail stores. There is high demand for these goods since clothes retailers are seeking to cut outsourcing costs and I offer the most affordable choice for them. It is tasking for retailers to source all their stock from different wholesale stores and results to consumption of a lot time. I have established networks with different clothes wholesale stores who give me favorable discounts. My business is profitable due to low costs involved. Since I am a supplier I don’t incur much of the holding costs. The major risk of my business is entry of new participants in my kind of business. However am minimizing the risk through differentiation and low pricing. The approximate costs incurred are $100 and an average monthly income of $250. The loan proceeds will enable me add stock to my business.

Loan Proposal

The amount of loan disbursed to me will be used in stocking a wide range of garments used for manufacturing tailor-made dresses and shirts. I plan on acquiring these garments in bulk from the manufacturers in order to cut costs. The expected average cost of outsourcing these materials amounts to approximately $120. The deficit of $70 owing to the amount I expect to receive will be financed by the business' retained profits. However the amount lend to me will enable me to expand my business through expansion of capital investment.
