my name is Amos Oketch i was born and raised up in Kenya in the Coast province Mombasa district. i was born in june 27 1980. i was born in a family of six that is one girl and five brothers. i am the second born in my family. i was taken to kisauni primary school where i did my primary education and later joined serani boys for secondary education. i managed to complete my high school studies and joined the Kenya red cross as a volunteer person to help the society during disasters. i have been a member of the Kenya red cross to date although i run a business and am also employed as an emergency medical technician at Mewa Hospital. i love working hard and making a positive change in the society at large.
Due to my hard work i managed to open a retail shop two years ago. i deal in household supplies. i decided to venture into the business after i saw my people having a difficult time getting the services because there are no shops around. i decided to take up the initiative and opened one and employed a young man who runs it when i am not around. it has been working out well whereby my typical monthly sales are 80,000. That is 50,000 purchases , 15000 expenses and 15000 profits. This has enabled to pay for my siblings fees who are in college and one is in high school. i am also able to pay rent, revenue, utility bills and my shopkeeper while saving some money for my future expenses.
given the chance to get a zidisha loan i will use ksh 4500 to buy 40 liters of cooking oil and use the rest to rice. i came to realise that people in my area use these products so much and i need to stock them in bulk soonest. this will raise my profit margins and improve my living standards thanks to zidisha loan. with the profits i will comfortably pay for my loan without any difficulties and make my customers happy for providing what they need most. Kindly lenders make this a reality.
