About Me

My name is Anthony. I live in Mtwapa Kenya. I have a passion for maintaining swimming pools. I come from a family of 4 kids and being the first born of the family, I have always had to find ways to earn some income to support my siblings.
My passion for pool maintaining started after high school when I joined my friend in a hotel who works as a pool attendant. After the training I started walking door to door in hotels, apartments and private houses to ask for tenders. Managed to save some money to buy equipments and chemicals .

My Business

My business offers the following services, cleaning swimming pools, cleaning tiles and selling chemicals for those who clean for themselves. In Mtwapa the competition is not high on this business. This is a great opportunity for my business to meet the demand and grow. I offer good prices for cleaning pools to my customer and I mostly prefer to be hired than to be employed because when I am hired to clean a pool in a day I make 50 dollars, and when I use my chemicals I make 80 dollars per day.
However, my major challenge is equipment. The equipments are expensive. It will also help me venture into the corporate world which requires proper get tenders from them.
With the loan I get from Zidisha, I plan to buy proper equipments and chemicals. I will highly appreciate the loan to be able to meet my clients expectations .

Loan Proposal

When I get this loan,I will be able to take my business to the next level since I will purchase my own vacuum pump at 120 dollars since i have been hiring for the past months and I am sure when I buy my own pump will be in a position to save 20 dollars for hiring the pump in a day.The other 67 dollars will use to buy a bicycle to easy my transport to different places since sometimes i have to walk long distances.so I am expecting to make extra 30 dollars comparing to the previous income graph.Thank you in advance.
