About Me

my name is calvince guda and my childhood was a such a happy one and was set in nyakach area of kisumu county where i was most of my early childhood up to secondary school level.i did industrial micro biology and bio technology at campus. this background in education has led me the to focus much of time in farming more so livestock rearing and breed improvement. i started this business 2 years ago after completing my education. i rear dairy animals and have some lama breed and now i want to incorporate goats in my farm as they are easy to breed and are not susceptible to many of the diseases.
i overcome hardship in life by motivations that i get from the spiritual leaders and motivation books that i read .i like staying positive when i have a hard situation at hand and that has helped me succeed in this business environment.

i started this business two years ago growing it from my family business as my parents are well established farmers and as such i took over the running of the business fully after school.land in this part of kenya is an emotive issue and everyone want to own a piece of it as most of the production uses land.so people are attached to land
i would like my children to take after me in the running of the business as farming has a lot of profits. my hobbies are like reading books and also mentoring the young children in various aspects of life.

My Business

i am a farmer and rare animals like dairy cows ,lama and at the moment i want to introduce goats at my farm .the animals that i breed have ready market as many people around nakuru county are farmers and as such visit my farm for the breed of animals that they require.i chose this kind of business because of the experience i have had at the farm and also the kind of education i got from campus has led me to this kind of business. my typical revenue per month is between $180 and $200 that help me to pay my bills and also pay one employee who assist me in the farm.the profit l get help me to pay school fees for my child and improve the farm.

Loan Proposal

thanks zidisha team and lenders for being there to help upcoming business people to realise their dreams.this period being a period that we are heading to festive times of December i would live funding to buy goats and stock them to what the Christmas festivities that are associated with December.this is how i will use the money. i will take $90 to buy goats that are easily available in areas of mogotio and $10 for transport.selling them will give me double returns as this is the time people buy more of goat meat for their visitors for christmas.
