About Me

I am Nally oppong, the first born of four. I am from Fiapre, in the Brong/Ahafo region of Ghana. I attended my basic school at the St. Mary's Preparatory School at Sunyani. I continued at the fiapre J. H. S and then attended S. H. S at Sacred Heart S. H. S. After S.H.S, my parents could not afford to pay my tertiary fees so I started selling on the street to earn money to pay for my vocational studies. After four years of hardwork, I saved money for my school fees at women vocation training institute. I had to go through a lot of stress to save something little to begin my studies with. Today I have been able to open my own restaurant at Fiapre. People at Fiapre are hard working, humble courageous and kind. My children want to be managers and engineers. I like watching movies and listening to radios.

My Business

I am Nally Oppng who work at morinojoint a resturant in Sunyani. I chose this type of business to help support my children and myself. But when I realized how the children in my community were suffering, I decided to support them with pens, books and uniforms with my own money. I am doing this for the children to encourage them to go to school to become good children in the future. My service to these children is very vital to their academic success. Every month, I spend close to $500 on the children. I buy school bag, new sandals, school dresses, writing materials, tables and chairs for them. Things were not that easy when I started this project but thanks to the Zidisha community, I have been able to provide these kids some items for school and living. But our expenses have increased and so I would need help to continue helping these children that's why I have come to seek help from this noble organization. I will use the loan to buy things for the children, provide them good education and help them achieve their dreams.

Loan Proposal

When I am given this loan, I will use it to continually support the needy and poor children. Some of these children are in need of books, chairs and tables, slates, shirts, trousers, pencils, and pen and many other items for school. I want to provide these items to most of the children and they may cost around $300. Some would also need school bag, new sandals, school dresses, writing materials, tables and chairs. At times I have to feed them. Please help me provide these items to the children that they can have good moral education and grow up as responsible citizens of the country. Thank you.
