My name is Thomas ngumu nzau.I was born in matungulu district of machakos county in the lower eastern Kenya .I was born to a polygamous family where i was born of the third wives mother. We had poverty issues including not getting enough fees for school so most of our time was spent out of school
I started herding neighbors cow for pay to assist in paying school fees and buying food.
I started my own business of a kiosk by selling maize which i had harvested from my fathers two acre plot
My business deals in Mpesa and printing together with photocopy .The business turnover has not been good due to lack of enough working capital
I pay rent 4,000, my food and family 7,000 and hope to get some profit
the profits will help me pay school fees for my children,my daughter who is joining university this september will need a big amount so i must start preparing by saving bit by bit
i will buy stationery to add on my stock This will go along way in enabling me to serve more customers meaning i will improve in profits.
1) printing papers
