About Me

My name is Bonkoungou Tene. I am a teacher by profession since 2010. Previously, I was president of the association of young out-of-school girls, an association that aims to sensitize parents to enroll the girls in school.
Currently, I take care of my fruit processing unit. I set up a unit that processes mainly local fruits and also those from elsewhere. I transform the fruit in granules for instant fruit juice. These granules are ready for consumption. You need only to add water to them to obtain juice. We also produce granules of millet to be used in porridge, cakes. Support from you will allow me to increase my capacity.

My Business

The fruits that I use the most are: tamarind, creepers, bissap, ginger, lemon, pineapple, baobab fruit, mangoes ... Also, it often mix different fruits together as cocktails, for example pineapple and lemon or tamarind and ginger
Currently I am working on the the production of shea granules. I already sell dried shea fruit as well as the juice, that is appreciated. If our customers like shea granules, by next year I plan to add them to our production. The idea came from a friend who produced bissap granules. She showed me how she did it and I applied the knowledge I have gained to other fruits. Thus, we add value to these fruits and we increase their shelf life, since most of them are quickly perishable.

About Me

My Business
