About Me

I am David Omondi a 29 year old farmer from a remote town in Kenya called Molo. I have a degree in Communications and Public Relations and currently practising as a Marketer in Kenya's capital Nairobi. I am passionate about making Kenya as a whole and especially my little town Molo self sufficient when in comes to agricultural produce, a dream I know is not easy to achieve especially considering the financial constraints. I also realize that it is not a project I can handle alone, it would need team work

My Business

My business is a potato farm where I plant seasonally and distribute the produce to various hotels. The business is on a one acre piece of land and is mainlymanned by ma parents who are retired and worked in the Ministry of Agriculture. My plan is to expand over the years and produce more, while creating a brand image for my produce by delivering quality to my clients

Loan Proposal

I want to transport seedlings to the farm hence my request for the loan. I have already purchased the seedlings and now with the rains having come I would like to start the planting process. This loan will help me get a pick-up truck that will deliver the seeds to the farm and will also help me with the initial preparations for the planting period
