About Me

My name is Abraham Mumba and I come from humble family in Petauke district of Eastern Province. I completed my education at Petauke boarding High School. I have the passion in Farming and I enjoyed production unit while at school because of agriculture science which i took serious and learnt skill from our great teacher in production unit. My dream then shifted to farming hence when completed school went straight into farming and today am a proud farmer.

My Business

Am a farmer and it is main business and source of income. I grow maize crop, tomatoes, cabbages, Onions, egg plants and many more. Maize crop is highly in demand for marketeers, homes and supermarket. The major market is milling companies especially when harvest time and I sell when the moisture content is at 12.5%. This business is highly profitable and helps me to pay school fees and improve the family warfare.

Loan Proposal

I at least 2000 ZMW to assist me to hire transport to market my in town, my crop is ripe and ready for sale. Since it is raining at the moment there is it much food to eat, the income from the sale of maize will help my family to buy food staffs, pay school fees and buy books for the children as school are opening on the 1st of February, 2021.

Income Source

Despite main challenges we are facing now , my concentration with my family at the moment is farm work to have more food and some sell .Besides that my wife she working as agriculture extension officer and she a salary of can be used as well to help repay the loan in case of any eventualities.
