My names are Edgar Towers, and am the 4th in a family of five and i was raised by both my parents and we grew up with our siblings together. I lost one of my brother in the year 1996 but the rest of my siblings are ok and healthy. I had to strive hard to reach where i am right now cause finishing school and having to survive in the city of Nairobi was quite a challenge. I raised my first capital through borrowing from friends and i had to partner up with my former classmate from high school. Am still single but am already engaged so i am looking forward to wed the love of my life late this year. My favorite hobbies are reading novels, traveling, hiking, camping, watching soccer (am a Chelsea fan) and swimming.
My business is registered under the name Android Stores Limited and is located in Nakuru. I mainly deal with purchasing and supplies, distribution and service outsourcing. My main source of income is from my supplies and service business. I mainly deal with stationary and software installation. Stationary has turned out to be one of the basic necessity since there is increase in population and in the number of students enrolling to acquire education. My main costs are purchases and my source of revenue is sales in form of profit, which use it on trying to grow the business and as well cater for my day to day need.
I would like to use the loan for transportation of my inventory from my point of dispatch to my shop as well as to my clientele. The inventory to be collected are printing papers and toners from Nairobi to Nakuru. The printing papers retail for about Ksh. 1,400 and the toners vary from Ksh. 1,700 to Ksh. 2,500.
The benefit i will gain is effective and timely release for my inventory from my supplier to my clientele as well. This will reduce the delay in process of delivery for items purchased as well for items required for delivery.
I expect to increase my business margin profit by approximately Ksh.150 per item sold for the papers and Ksh.250 per item sold for the toners.
Your kind consideration and assistance will be highly appreciated, looking forward for your endured cooperation.
