About Me

My name is Vitalish Otieno Okeyo born in Nyanza Province in A county Called Kenya (located in Africa). I am a first born in my family of five siblings. We reside in Kisumu City North West of Nairobi the capital city of Kenya. I cleared my o level education in the year 2012 and immediately due to unemployment in Kenya, started a tree seedlings project. My primary aim was to help finance the other siblings clear their education too. The secondary aim of this project was to help the local to plant trees which i viewed to be environmentally positive.
My hobbies are tree planting and reading novels. I would spend weekends meeting people at the local areas informing them of relevance of tree planting. Also i would get to churches and schools in nearby to plant trees.

My Business

In this way i will be able to buy more seeds and polythene sleeves to use for packaging. This project is my business which mainly deals with tree sedlings which are produced and sold locally. It is aimed at meeting the demand from the area sorounding Kisumu as well as institutions like Kenya Forest Research Institute which do buy indegenous seedlings from reputable producers.
Averagely i make about 3000 seedlings after every three weeks and eachg seedlings goes for Kshs. 5/= in the local market. This translates to 15,000/= after every three weeks from the time of sales.
The profit from the business is half the sale i.e. Kshs. 7,500/= with the other half being used in expences.
I considered this business project against others because it i was less demanding in terms of capital and legal requirements to start up. compared to others.

Loan Proposal

Morning to you all ,

I am going to use all of these loan funds proposed herewith to buy more tree seedlings of different species to increase the stock which i have for my customers.

The reason for purchasing tree seedlings of different species is to enable me have more customers who will get all the species they ask for at my business hence maintaining them at all times.
