About Me

my childhood was full of challenges due to my humble background.I was raised by a single parent.My parents separated while we were still young kids.My mother moved to Narok.This is where i grew up.She was selling Omena fish in the Narok market.She managed to educate us up to secondary school through sheer sacrifice and struggle.My last born sister is in form three now.Being the eldest i would accompany my mom to the market to sell omena fish.I learnt the knack of doing business and being independent.After form four my mother boosted me with some capital and i opened a hotel kiosk in Narok four years ago and is still operational to date.My dream was to pursue a deggree in business management and have enrolled for part time classes to pursue the same.Where i live people love meat and milk.My beautiful daughter wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

My Business

I run a hotel kiosk in Narok targeting low and middle income earners.its near the main bus stage.I sell food and soft drinks.I also sell beverages like tea,coffee, among others.Food is in demand because people must eat to nourish themselves frequently.I have a niche in the market because i sell traditional foods which are healthy.my prices are fair because i am supplied directly by farmers and have a contracted price agreement.I chose the business because i had experience in food related businesses.Its also at a strategic place.Returns are also good once you know your target market.My typical costs on a weekly basis are Kshs 20,000 and my weekly revenue is Ksh 8,000.I pay rent for my young family and take care of their needs/upkeep.I also save some and pay fees for my last born sibling who is in secondary school

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan plus my savings to clear my tuition fees for a diploma course iam pursuing in business management.The balance as at now is 80$.I intend to study up to degree level as time goes by.I have enrolled for evening classes schedule.It will help me to have knowledge to operate business and manage it as well.Others will benefit from me through the trickle down effect.With this knowledge and skills that i will gain from college i will take my business a notch higher.my business will grow and i will employ more people and give back to society.
