About Me

My name is cheryot kirui oscar, currently a third year student at Jomo kenyatta University persuing a degree in Biosystems Engineering . I was born and brought up in a small village in Rift valley called Takitech at Bomet county.
I spend all my childhood days with my mother and grandmother in the village. I am the 2nd born in a family of nine children. We are 3men and 5 ladies. Our childhood days was full of hardwork for survival, my grandmother used to make the local brews for her to put the food on the table. My mother too used to assist her in making the brew. Through their iiligal bussiness we they were able to feed us and provide other basic needs for us.
When I was five years old my Mother decided to take me to the nearest primary school, by the name ndanai primary schoool. In school life was difficult since I and my siblings did not even had the school uniform and even at times we used to miss books and pens for writing, other pupils could make fun of us but we never lost hope with our thirst for knowledge.
I completed my primary education in 2008 despite the challenges that we were passing through with my sibling and passed very well. I managed to score 364 marks out of the possible 400 which had never been attained by anyone in that school. I then joined a secondary school by the name Tenwek high school which was the best school in our county by then. In high school I managed to overcome all the challenges of school fee through costant fundraising by well wishers in our village.
I completed my secondary education in 2012 with a very good grade that took me to university.
I went to the university and persue an Engineering course which had always been my dream in life.
My life in the University has not been easy since I commeced in 2013, it has been full of financial challenges because of the high demand of commondities in the universities..My parents at home could not raise the money to sustain me in the university because of lack of a stable job and our other nine siblings who needs to be attended. This prompted me to start small bussinesses within the university to keep me moving.

My Business

I started doing business in the year 2014, when I discovered I can look for some income for myself. My bussiness at first look very small but with time it grew to some level.
I do business of selling mitumba clothes to my fellow students within the university.
I normally go the biggest markets in Nairobi city such as kikomba and Muthurua markets and look for cheap clothes at a subsidised wholesale price.
I do buy fitting shirts and trousers which are normally prefferd by university students. During my free time when I am not in lectures I go round the hostels selling my products at a profit.
This is how I manage to get some income.
My business has now lasted for a period of two years. I will appreciate zidisha if they can provide me with a loan to assist me pay my university tuition fee and maintain my small bussiness.

Loan Proposal

I need a loan to assist me to pay my university tution fee . I have had challenges in paying my university tution fee for the last two years.
If I get this loan I will use 5 dollars to pay my tuition fee.
I will also like to use 4 dollars
to increase the stock of my business. The 4 dollars will enable me to buy 4 more troursers in one round and will earn me a profit of 6 dollars at most after selling the products.
I will appreciate any lender who would fund me to archive my dream.
