About Me

I am the first of five girls in my family, I had my basic education at Nyamaa Basic School in sunyani and secondary education at Tepa Secondary School. I had my first degree at the University for Development Studies, Tamale. I am in charge of the education of my younger sisters since my parent are retirees. During my secondary school and university days I use to help my mum in her sachet water business, income from this business is what was used in paying my tuition fee for my first degree. Life wasn't smooth for us but with perseverance I was able to sail through. I am employed as teacher in the local community and my salary is what I use to support my sisters , aside the sachet water business my mum handed over to me. I want to upgrade my self that why am under taking a course in Development Management to get employed into a well paying organization. First degree in my country is not enough to get you a well paid job to assist your family. I love cooking so I get order from the local people to cook when there is a community program, it is not something big, but I believe when I get the Zidisha loans I can expand it.

My Business

I am a teacher in a community school, but I am into sachet water business and part-time catering businesses. My community is a mining town so community member don't consume tap water since most of the time it is dirty and unclean, there fore they tend to consume more of sachet water. Profit from these business is what I use to cater for my sisters and my parent and I use some to invest into the business.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan from zidisha to pay for my tuition at the university. This will help me upgrade my self to get a good job to help my sisters and parents. I will also used some of the loan from zidisha to expand the sachet water business my mother gave to me. With the sachet water the profit I made a week ranges from 50 GHS to 7oGHS. this will help me pay the loan on time.
