About Me

I grew up in Nyamira village in a family of seven whereby we were brought up with the support of both the grandparents and parents. All contributed in bringing in food because of financial instability. My schooling was spent in public primary school and public secondary schools because of difficulties with the schools' fees that were experienced. Sometimes, dropouts were necessary due to lack of school fees and labour activities in the farm to help the parents raise the school fees. To overcome the school fees problem, I had to first work in the farm to raise money after high school to enable me to start my university education.
My culture is unique because one is trained on how to overcome hardship as well as in the responsibilities in life.

My Business

I sell shoes and I sometimes do door delivery services to increase the sales revenue. The goods are in demand because I do market segmentation for the purpose of identifying the target groups. The market share of women is also considered to be large due to frequency of buying. This kind of business is suitable because it can be adjusted according to cyclic fluctuations in the economy as well as according to different seasons during the year. My typical costs per month are kshs 8000 per month and the typical revenue ranges between kshs 20,000 to kshs 25,000 per month. The profits I realize are used to reinvest in other service business to promote its growth, to pay for my children's school fees and to cater to other family basic needs. This kind of business is suitable because it deals with non-perishable goods. That reduces the loss in business as compared to perishable goods.

Loan Proposal

I will buy books for my human resource units that are unavailable to enable me to be update with the job market and to connect with consultants that will enable me grow in my career and the books cost $100. The books will help me write articles in human resource that will help in mentoring many as well as generating revenue .
