I lost my father at the age of nine. Because my father was wealthy, it was until his death that i started seeing the other side of life. Everything changed. My father's friends who constantly visited and socialized with us when he was alive departed after his death. Life became difficult. As I grew up in school, I realized that we have potentials and talents and the mind is a powerful tool. These mindsets helped me tremendously through the years. Despite all these trails especially at the early stages, life marched on and turned out positive. I earned my degree in statistics and computer science from university of Ghana. I am the only person among my siblings to complete the university. How i overcame most of these hardship. First of all, the neighborhood i grew up was safe. I grew up in kumasi, the capital town of Ashanti region. Ghana is a peaceful conutry and education is a priority for every community. Secondly, i was supported by people who love me. Most of these people help in payment of my school fee. I did well in school and had the opportunity to succeed. I kept going, one foot after the other, no matter what.
I am working as a teacher in a school and also help my siblings in spare parts business. With the loans from lenders, i will be able to help my siblings in this business. We deal with the sales of Cars lamps(tails light, head light, etc). We import these products mostly from Nigeria and other Asian countries. I believed strongly that, with these experiences and your support, we will thrive and achieve our aim. I personally want to also establish a school and help the less-privileged in the society.
With this loan. I will be able to continue my educational program at the university. I will buy study materials which are recommended for our program. I am always thankful for the support from zidisha. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.
