About Me

My names are Joan omondi. Am a widow with three kids. Two boys and one girl. Two of my kids are in campus and my youngest is in secondary school.
My husband was involved in a car accident 10 years ago and unfortunately that's when he left us. I was a house wife at that time and my husband was the sole breadwinner.
When he left us things really got bad and my kids were a bit young.
I and my in laws were not in good terms and all they did was make life difficult for us they took almost everything my husband left for us to amount we were penniless. At some point I didn't know what my kids would have for dinner when they come from school.
In our savings I was only left with KES 20000 and at this point that wasn't going to cover school for my kids.
I had to transfer them to a cheaper school and we moved to a cheaper house as well. Then i decided to start a small business to help us with the day to day needs. And that's how I started my fast food cafe.
I rented a small place and bought a few appliances and I started cooking chips mandazi and chapatis. Mostly for take away clients.

My Business

I have a fast food joint where I sell chips, chapits, mandazi and others snacks.
I have had this joint for 6 years now. I have incorporated soft drinks and I also have an Mpesa shops.
This helps me capitalize in all means.
Am able to serve all my clients from there money transfer needs to their stomach.
It my sincere hope that Zidisha will help me grow my business in a way I can expand the service I offer to my customers.
In a month I make averagly a profit of Kshs 25000, I use this to sort my rent and purchase potatoes and other stuff I need to run the fast food joint.

Loan Proposal

Thanks so much for the support, I would like to apply a loan of 370 dollars to help me pay for my son's tuition fee and get food stuff for my restaurant , This loan will help me pay his tuition although not in full but it will ensure that he's back to class. i will also spend part of the loan to help e buy food stuff at my restaurant.
I will pay this loan from my business, I run a fast food joint and will use the profits from there to pay up my loan. i will use 250 dollars to pay tuition fee for my son then invest 120 dollars in food stuff. i intent to buy 10kgs of rice at 20 dollars, 6 packets of baking flour at 30 dollars, 10 liters of cooking oil for 20 dollars, 12 packets of cooking flour for 30 dollars, 20 dollars for spices and other ingredients
I would like to plead with you to help me send my son back to class through funding my loan also be able to get food stuff for my restaurant to help me keep y eatery running.
Thanks in advance and may god bless you.

Joan.
