my name is Alex kiprop, i was born in the central part of Kenya a place called Naivasha. I was raised in a children's home by the name Naivasha Mission Recue Center where i got the basic needs that is food, shelter, clothing and also education. I was a pupil at St Monica Primary school in Naivasha and later on joined St Joseph Secondary school. My education was cut short when i was in form four because i had to give room for other children at the rescue center to get access to the same education that i received.
After completing my education at form four, i had made some savings and thought to start up a business that could sustain my living. I opened up a stand in the market where i sale different varieties of fruits at the Naivasha market i sale, watermelons, oranges, mangoe, passion fruits, and different varieties of fruits at particular seasons. The savings that i made while at school is what enabled me start up the fruit business.
What i find unique about our land is the place that i was brought up, i was brought up with a biological father and mother, this was so hard for me but on the other hand, i felt encouraged because i knew it was for a reason that i was raised there.
I sale different varieties of fruits at the Naivasha market. This varieties of fruits are passion fruits, watermelons, mangoes, oranges, bananas, pineapple, ovacados and other seasonal fruits. This goods are useful because they act as food to us and also sources of vitamins that build our body. I chose this business because the little capital that i had saved was enough to start up that business and also i had secured a place at the market places where i could set up a place to sale my fruits. I have been using the profits that i make to continue expanding my business and also support one of the kids at the rescue center that i adopted to be my responsibility.
With the loan, i will buy an umbrella and construct a stand made of wood that will hold my fruits. This will cost me 50 us dollars, given the loan, i will realize this target and establish a good stand with a shade for my fruits.
I will benefit from these loan because i will be able to increase my income because i will create a good environment for my fruits where i can even be selling pudding to my customers.
I expect a raise in my profits that will enable me Py back the zidisha loan, maintain my business as well as support the kid with his personal needs
