About Me

i am a 29 year old with a BSc. in Environmental science.i am an environmentalist by profession and i started a small agro-business in my local community that involves poultry keeping. i rear ducks and local chicken breeds that is a delicacy in my locality.i stated the business right after compleating my studies so that that i could engage myself rather that waiting for any meaningful formal employment. from an initial capital of 1800/= that i was given as a grant by my family i firstly purchased 3 ducks from a local farmer which i later incorporated with the local chicken breeds

My Business

my initial source of income and capital for the small poultry business was a grant that i was obtained from my family.over the few years the ducks and chickens have multiplied rapidly hence the revenue from the sale of poultry products increased by 70% over the years. i sell eggs on a daily basis about 20 duck eggs at 20/= translating to 400 shilling daily and i sell 10 chicken eggs at 10/= thus the gross daily income is 500/=. the daily cost sums to about 250/= giving me a profit margin of 250/= daily.i predict a potential of 30% growth if i purchase an incubator . this will reduce time waste by the incubating fowls hence maximizing on the revenue.

Loan Proposal

i opened my barber shop from the capital i got from my poultry business and the rest of the capital i got from my girlfriend.i have fully repaid her the money she lend me.my barber shop has been doing so well hence the need for expansion.AM PLANNING TO EXPAND MY BARBER SHOP BY PURCHASING AN EXTRA BARBER SEAT AND A NEW STERILIZATION MACHINE.MY BARBER SHOP HAS BEEN DOING SO WELL THAT AN EXPANSION IS BECOMING MORE NECESSARY EVERYDAY.CURRENTLY MY TURNOVER FOR EVERY MONTH IS ABOUT 28,000KSH WITH ALL EXOENSES REMOVED AND I HAVE FULLY PAID THE TWO GUYS WHO WORK AT THE BARBER SHOP.I PLAN TO EXPAND THESE SHOP AND THEN LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE TO OPEN A 2ND ONE.MY BUSINESS IS LOOKING UP AND AM REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE FUTURE GROWTH.THANK YOU IN ADVANCE ZIDISHA TEAM

hallo,i bought an old pickup to help me in my business and i have been replacing the tyres and repainting it.that has put a strain on my resources but i will be able to pay up as soon as possible.i just had a new baby and that has added more responsibility in the house from the househelp to moving to a bigger place.my commitment to repaying is still very much in place and i thank the entire zidisha team for all the help they have accorded me.thank you again for everything and am sorry for the inconvienience.regards

the interval of one week is too short for me.i feel i will strain myself too much and hence will end up not fulfilling my initial goal of purchasing my machine.but in two months i have a feeling things will turm out to be better and i will be bale to pay a higher amount than that.am calculating that if every week i pay 400ksh and upto 1600ksh per month and that is reasonable for me to pay up without straining
