I live with my last three children in Musumarini. I started doing business because i wanted to meet my family needs.I first started with tailoring business, and later i introduced the boutique selling second hand clothes. This business really helped me with my family upkeep. With my income from the business i buy food for the family paying rent at the boutique, and paying school fees.
My business is a combined boutique and a tailoring shop, these combined businesses gives me a good help in my family upkeep. This business is doing well especially, the boutique which i do a door to door service, this business does better because i go to the customers right to their houses. with this door to door service target all age group as i meet them at their residential places this business is profitable as i get my family needs without any problem. With this business i get an income of ksh 30,000 per month. in this business my risks include, rainy season, this affects as i walk doing the door to door service so its hard to walk in such weather. With the income i get i use ksh 5,000 for my family food, ksh 4, 000 paying school fees, ksh 5 for my family expences and other family needs. i save ksh 16,000 per month, which i can use to repay my zidisha loan.
Thank you once again for this chance. I really appreciate your efforts in helping us. With this loan I would like to add more stock so I can open another shop that is now ready to start. So I will use USD 450 for the new clothes,USD 200 for the used clothes and use the remaining to put shelves in the new store. With this increase am sure I will have a good boost to my sales that will make my repayment easier. Thank again and God bless you all.
